About Susan Mills

Graduated from Toronto’s Wexford Collegiate Institute’s visual arts program in 1983 and in 1990 from York University with an Honours B.A. in Mass Communications and English.

Back in those no-Net 1980s, communication excitement was reached through media relations and various print materials, to which Susan showed skill and talent for marketing and communicating key messages to target audiences.

In 1996, Susan became a web pioneer, helping pave the Internet superhighway with her contribution towards Allstate Canada’s first website. In the succeeding 10 years, Susan played a key role in the ongoing branding, marketing and innovation of Allstate online and is proud to be part of the team that made Allstate Canada’s website the first insurance e-commerce site in Canada. Susan’s ability for user-centred interface and navigational design was instrumental in the online sales and MyAllstate areas of the website.

Starting in 2005, Susan helped disseminate York University’s essence and experience potential to the millennial and Net Generation through continued technological innovation and web optimization of key messages and front-line student services.

Susan’s unique background begun in graphic design and communications, followed by real life marketing and conversion of brand from print to online presences emerged into a full service design and build agency with the launch of E-Clicks in 2008.
